Phillip Island

Phillip island is probably more well known for the fairy penguins than for anything else but there is also a motor racing circuit there as well as rugged coastlines and great surfing. My first (and only) trip down there to date was with some friends who were going surfing. While I don't claim to be a surfing photographer, here are some of the results.

These shots were taken at the same beach that the penguins come in to at night, and it seemed a bit strange watching these surfers at a deserted beach with large rows concrete seats. The coastline often reminded me of the next location, Cape Schanck.
