Commercial Uses

Commercial use of these images is subject to a nominal charge. Higher resolution scans of these images are available. For more information send an email message to b.kreunen@unimelb.edu.au. Please make sure your return email address is correct (one in six requests cannot be answered because of invalid addresses).

I don't ask for much and the fees are usually less than the actual cost of taking the photographs.

Free uses and conditions

Personal web pages: I generally don't mind if you use my images on personal web pages, depending on the context in which they are used. 

Educational: My images have been used by several Victorian schools for their web pages and projects.

Students writing web pages as a component of their course may also use these images but if their web site is later used for commercial purposes then a small fee will be applicable at such time.

Educational sites that charge fees to access their information or have restricted access are regarded as commercial sites.

Desktop images and screen savers: Since I've removed the enlargements the remaining images aren't really of any use as desktop images. I'll occasionally release some desktop images in my new downloads section.

Conditions: All I ask is that you send me an email with the URL of the page and include a small copyright notice on the same page as the image. A link back to my page is nice but not essential. Below is an example of an acceptable notice.
