Castle Rock
It seems that most of the places I end up visiting the most are
also popular amongst rock climbers. This shot of Castle rock is
looking across the Victoria Valley. The orange colour of the leaves
is from a 'bushfire' (fuel reduction burn that got wildly out of
control) some six months earlier.
The bottom of the mountain is easily accessible via a vehicular
track on the northeast side of the mountain and then a short walking
track. From the end of the track however, it's an 'interesting' walk
through the bush.
