Beehive Falls

[ gramp039 ] [ gramp041 ] Beehive Falls gets its name from the beehive that sits under an overhang in the cliff to the left of the falls. Located in Roses Gap it gets numerous visitors although most only see the lower falls (left picture). The walking track continues beyond here up to Briggs Bluff and the Mt Difficult Range. There are several waterfalls below Briggs Bluff but many of them are ephemerals due to the rocky nature of their small catchments. Beehive Falls is best seen shortly after heavy rain.
