Possums

Possums are not as shy as most Australian animals and close contact with them is possible. They are even tourist attractions to be fed by hand in the Fitzroy Gardens. But in the wild these apparently tame little animals will only approach for one reason, FOOD. Whether you give it to them or they have to rummage through your pack to find it these little beggars are always hungry and they will go to incredible lengths to get your food.

They also have sharp claws and very sharp teeth and can be found through most of Victoria.
