Dangerous and Annoying Animals in Victoria

There are very few spectacularly dangerous animals in Australia. There are no lions, tigers or grizzly bears. Just a few snakes, spiders and jelly fish. There are, however, other animal "encounters" that many of us could do without.

There are basically two rules to follow to avoid unpleasant animal encounters.

1. Look but don't touch, feed, poke, prod.
2. Don't leave food unattended at a campsite.

So before you go "Oh!!, isn't it cute?" here are a few notes on some animals you are likely to encounter in Victoria.
