Bryce's Gorge

Conglomerate Falls

[ alpine025 ] Conglomerate Falls is at the top of the gorge and is quite an impressive site when you consider that it's quite easy jumping across the creek at the top of the falls. There is a bit of a track around to the base of the falls and a short distance down the gorge. From the main fall Conglomerate Creek becomes a long cascade that forms a white ribbon at the base of the northern cliff. There are a few good views of the falls from the edge of the gorge on the way to Pieman's Falls. [ me010 ]

The clearing near the top of the gorge is the most used camping area after the 'carpark'. It provides a sheltered campsite with (needless to say) a reliable water supply.
