Partial Panoramas

PTViewer can also display partial panoramas (panoramas with less than 360° x 180° field of view) quite easily. The start to most solutions is to use the equirectangular projection format although rectilinear images can also be used.

• Partial height
  e.g. cylindrical panorama converted to equirectangular
  
  
• Partial width
  Horizontal field of view < 360°
  
  
• Restricting vertical tilt
  e.g. Horizon not centred
