Big Ben's Melbourne Uni

This site is currently under development.  You'll find here a collection of BW infrared panoramas of scenes around the university. It's going to be a week or two before much else gets done while I wait for the trees to grow some leaves but here's a taste of what's to come.  You can select individual panoramas from the links below or you can try the prototype of a VR tour including location maps for the panoramas.

These panoramas are made using Panorama Tools and PTStitcher, and are viewed using the PTViewer java applet, all of which are freely available from the Panorama Tools website.

01/11/00 - Added a "halation" effect to the images simulating the appearance of Kodak's HIE film. The sharpness of Konica seemed a little too realistic ins some images.

18/09/01 - Made a Windows screen saver using these panoramas (suitable for up to 1024x768) Download the screensaver.
