OK so I changed it back to closer to the original. The tripod is at the bottom of the pano as you would expect from a straight panorama, and the horizon follows a roller coaster path across the image but is level in two places.... Pan = 180°, Tilt = 70° and Pan = 0°, Tilt = -70°... getting between the two is good exercise for the brain ;-)
