The Art and Science of Spherical Panoramas

Ben Kreunen is a landscape photographer who utilises the technical expertise obtained during a BAppSci (Photography) to produce high quality landscape images. Spherical panoramas were a natural progression from still photographs, with the ability to put the viewer in the landscape proving irresistible. But as with most internet developments, the real issues are often clouded by sales hype with more of an emphasis on "We can do it!" rather than "We can do it well!"

So let's get the shameless plug out of the way...  "Let me do it well for you!!"... and get on with having a look at just what is possible with spherical panoramas, where many people go wrong and how it's all done.
